Es k\u00f6nnen die Lippen, der Kiefer und der Gaumen einzeln oder in Kombination betroffen sein. Da durch die Fehlbildung wesentliche Funktionen wie die Atmung, das Schlucken oder die Sprachentwicklung etc. beeintr\u00e4chtigt sein k\u00f6nnen wird die Behandlung immer in Kooperation mit\u00a0Kinder\u00e4rzten, Kieferorthop\u00e4den, Hals-, Nasen-, Ohren\u00e4rzten und Logop\u00e4den\u00a0in einem Spaltzentrum durchgef\u00fchrt.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Die operative Therapie ist individuell abh\u00e4ngig vom Ausma\u00df der Fehlbildung und reicht von der Rekonstruktion von Lippe und Gaumen im S\u00e4uglings- und Kleinkindalter, \u00fcber den Aufbau des Kiefers durch Knochenverpflanzung in der Grundschulzeit bis zur Korrektur gegebenenfalls verbliebener Nasendeformationen und der Ersatz von nicht angelegten Z\u00e4hnen im Jugend- und
